Description

Easy Hershey’s Red Velvet Blossoms Cookies are a festive and delicious treat. Make these thumbprint cookies for holidays or any special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) red velvet cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 bag (10 oz) Hershey’s Red Velvet Kiss candies, unwrapped


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, softened butter, eggs, and flour. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
  4. Roll each ball in granulated sugar.
  5. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and immediately press a Hershey’s Red Velvet Kiss candy into the center of each cookie.
  8. Let cool completely on baking sheets before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use softened butter, not melted.
  • Do not overbake the cookies to keep them soft.
