Easy Hershey’s Red Velvet Blossoms Cookies are a festive and delicious treat. Make these thumbprint cookies for holidays or any special occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 box (15.25 oz) red velvet cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 bag (10 oz) Hershey’s Red Velvet Kiss candies, unwrapped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cake mix, softened butter, eggs, and flour. Mix until well combined.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
- Roll each ball in granulated sugar.
- Place on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and immediately press a Hershey’s Red Velvet Kiss candy into the center of each cookie.
- Let cool completely on baking sheets before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use softened butter, not melted.
- Do not overbake the cookies to keep them soft.
- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature.
