Ingredients
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa powder in a saucepan.
- Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for exactly 1 minute.
- Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add oats and mix until well coated.
- Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper to cool and set.
Notes
- For firmer cookies, boil for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
- Ensure you use old-fashioned oats for the best texture.
