Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound turkey sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1.5 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
  4. Add the turkey sausage pieces to the same baking sheet, distributing them evenly among the Brussels sprouts.
  5. Roast for 20 minutes.
  6. While the sausage and sprouts are roasting, whisk together the cranberry sauce and balsamic vinegar in a small bowl.
  7. Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Drizzle the cranberry glaze over the sausage and Brussels sprouts.
  8. Return the baking sheet to the oven and roast for another 10-15 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and the sausage is cooked through and slightly browned.
  9. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra crispy Brussels sprouts, you can broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, watching carefully to prevent burning.
