Light and airy Strawberry Angel Cake. A perfect dessert for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 box (14.4 oz) angel food cake mix
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup strawberry puree
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare angel food cake mix according to package directions.
- Gently fold in sliced strawberries and strawberry puree.
- Pour batter into an ungreased angel food cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool completely before inverting onto a serving plate.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- For a more intense strawberry flavor, use strawberry extract.
- Garnish with additional fresh strawberries.
