Description
Quick and easy sticky garlic chicken noodles. A flavorful Asian-inspired meal.
Ingredients
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Add garlic, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat.
- Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your preference.
- For a thicker sauce, whisk 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water and add to the skillet.
