Create a vibrant Spicy Mediterranean Steak Bowl for a flavorful and healthy meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into strips
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup Kalamata olives, halved
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Marinate steak strips with olive oil, garlic, chili flakes, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the steak until browned.
- Add red bell pepper and red onion to the skillet. Cook until softened.
- Prepare quinoa according to package instructions.
- Assemble bowls with quinoa, steak mixture, cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives, and feta cheese.
- Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with parsley.
