Description

Enjoy a quick and easy Spicy Ground Beef Egg Roll Bowl. This dish combines the flavors of an egg roll without the wrapper.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (or more to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 (14 ounce) bag coleslaw mix
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Add diced onion, minced garlic, and minced ginger to the skillet. Cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sriracha, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Add coleslaw mix to the skillet and cook until cabbage is tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of sriracha and red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
  • For a sweeter flavor, add a tablespoon of honey or brown sugar.
  • Serve over rice for a heartier meal.
