Enjoy a flavorful Spicy Garlic Steak & Potato Bowl. This recipe combines tender steak with roasted potatoes and a spicy garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Steak, cut into cubes
- 1.5 lb Potatoes, cubed
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss potatoes with 1 tbsp olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Roast for 20-25 minutes, until golden.
- While potatoes roast, prepare the steak. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, minced garlic, chili powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Heat remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook for 3-5 minutes, until browned.
- Pour the sauce over the steak and cook until sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve steak and sauce over roasted potatoes.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to control the spiciness.
- For meal prep, store steak and potatoes separately.
- Add your favorite vegetables for extra nutrients.
