Description

Enjoy a flavorful Spicy Garlic Steak & Potato Bowl. This recipe combines tender steak with roasted potatoes and a spicy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Steak, cut into cubes
  • 1.5 lb Potatoes, cubed
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss potatoes with 1 tbsp olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Roast for 20-25 minutes, until golden.
  3. While potatoes roast, prepare the steak. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, minced garlic, chili powder, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Heat remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook for 3-5 minutes, until browned.
  5. Pour the sauce over the steak and cook until sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve steak and sauce over roasted potatoes.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to control the spiciness.
  • For meal prep, store steak and potatoes separately.
