Description
Smash Burger Tacos combine the best of both worlds. Enjoy crispy, flavorful tacos with all the classic burger toppings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 4 slices cheddar cheese, quartered
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 1/4 cup dill pickle slices, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Form the ground beef into 8 small balls. Place each ball in the skillet and smash flat with a spatula.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.
- Place the quartered cheese slices on each patty during the last minute of cooking.
- Warm the tortillas.
- Place each burger patty on a tortilla.
- Top with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, ketchup, mustard, and pickles.
- Fold in half and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the ground beef.
- Use your favorite burger toppings.
- Serve with a side of fries or onion rings.
