Description

This slow cooker creamy chicken stuffing is a comforting and easy meal. You simply dump the ingredients in and let the slow cooker do the work.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 (6 ounce) package stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Place chicken pieces in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and cream cheese. Mix well and pour over the chicken.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine stuffing mix, chicken broth, and melted butter. Stir to combine.
  4. Spread the stuffing mixture evenly over the soup and chicken mixture.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and stuffing is tender.

Notes

  • For a crispier topping, broil for a few minutes after cooking.
  • Add vegetables like celery or onions for extra flavor.
