Description
This slow cooker creamy chicken stuffing is a comforting and easy meal. You simply dump the ingredients in and let the slow cooker do the work.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
- 1 (6 ounce) package stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Place chicken pieces in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and cream cheese. Mix well and pour over the chicken.
- In a separate bowl, combine stuffing mix, chicken broth, and melted butter. Stir to combine.
- Spread the stuffing mixture evenly over the soup and chicken mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and stuffing is tender.
Notes
- For a crispier topping, broil for a few minutes after cooking.
- Add vegetables like celery or onions for extra flavor.
