A hearty and comforting ground beef casserole cooked in a slow cooker, perfect for a simple and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (15 ounces) corn, drained
- 1 can (15 ounces) green beans, drained
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet. Drain off any excess grease.
- Transfer the browned beef and onion to your slow cooker.
- Add diced tomatoes, corn, green beans, and cream of mushroom soup to the slow cooker.
- Stir everything together until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, until heated through.
- Stir in cheddar cheese during the last 15 minutes of cooking, or serve sprinkled on top.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Serve with rice or mashed potatoes if desired.
