Description

A quick and flavorful sheet pan dinner featuring tender beef strips coated in spicy Korean gochujang sauce, roasted alongside your favorite vegetables. Perfect for a delicious weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Cooked rice, for serving
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Green onions, sliced, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic to make the sauce.
  3. Add the sliced beef to the sauce and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. On a large baking sheet, toss the broccoli florets, red bell pepper slices, and onion slices with vegetable oil. Spread them in a single layer.
  5. Arrange the marinated beef strips over the vegetables on the baking sheet.
  6. Roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through and the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.
  7. Serve immediately over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of gochujang to control the spice level.
  • Feel free to use other vegetables like bell peppers, zucchini, or snap peas.
  • Ensure the vegetables are cut into similar sizes for even cooking.
