Ingredients
- 1 pound Italian sausage, removed from casing
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in chicken broth and milk. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in macaroni. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until pasta is cooked through.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Serve immediately.
