Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-2 Thai chilies, thinly sliced (adjust to your spice preference)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh holy basil leaves (or Thai basil if holy basil is unavailable)

Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add ground chicken and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sliced Thai chilies to the skillet. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the skillet. Stir well to combine and coat the chicken.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Stir in the holy basil leaves until they just begin to wilt.
- Serve immediately over cooked rice.
Notes
- For a milder dish, reduce or omit the Thai chilies.
- If you cannot find holy basil, regular Thai basil can be used, though the flavor will be slightly different.
- Ensure all your ingredients are prepped before you start cooking, as this dish comes together quickly.
