Ingredients
- 8 ounces pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Combine pasta, olive oil, garlic, tuna, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and water in a large pot or Dutch oven.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until pasta is cooked through and liquid is mostly absorbed, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a creamier sauce, stir in 2 tablespoons of butter or a splash of heavy cream at the end.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a touch of heat.
