This One Dish Chicken & Stuffing Bake is a simple and satisfying meal. It combines chicken and stuffing in one pan for easy cooking and cleanup.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 box (6 ounces) stuffing mix
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Place chicken breasts in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine stuffing mix, cream of chicken soup, milk, and melted butter.
- Spread stuffing mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and stuffing is golden brown.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use different flavors of stuffing mix.
- Add vegetables such as broccoli or peas for a more complete meal.
- For a crispier topping, broil for the last few minutes of baking.
