Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 head of lettuce, separated into leaves
- Optional toppings: sesame seeds, green onions, sriracha
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
- Add garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, ginger, and red pepper flakes to the skillet.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Spoon beef mixture into lettuce leaves.
- Top with sesame seeds, green onions, or sriracha, if desired.
Notes
- For a sweeter flavor, add more brown sugar.
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to control the spice level.
