A flavorful Korean Beef Rice Bowl perfect for a quick and easy dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Optional toppings: sesame seeds, green onions, kimchi, fried egg
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
- Add soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, gochujang, garlic, and ginger to the skillet.
- Stir well to combine and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Serve the beef over cooked rice.
- Top with your favorite toppings, such as sesame seeds, green onions, kimchi, or a fried egg.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of gochujang to your desired level of spiciness.
- For a lower carbohydrate option, serve over cauliflower rice.
