Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 (16 oz) package potato gnocchi
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sausage and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
  3. Stir in gnocchi and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in marinara sauce and season with red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella on top and cover until melted.
  7. Serve hot.
