Description
A quick and hearty one-pan meal with Italian sausage, gnocchi, marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1 (16 oz) package potato gnocchi
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sausage and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
- Stir in gnocchi and cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in marinara sauce and season with red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle mozzarella on top and cover until melted.
- Serve hot.

- Use pre-cooked gnocchi for faster preparation.
- Add spinach or bell peppers for extra vegetables.
- Substitute marinara with Alfredo sauce for a creamier dish.
