Description

Enjoy sweet potatoes roasted to perfection with a spicy hot honey glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread sweet potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized, flipping halfway through.
  5. While sweet potatoes are roasting, whisk together honey, hot sauce, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  6. Remove sweet potatoes from oven and drizzle with hot honey glaze.
  7. Toss to coat evenly.
  8. Return to oven for 5 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
  9. Serve hot.
