A quick and flavorful hot honey beef rice bowl recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Optional toppings: green onions, sesame seeds
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sriracha, rice vinegar, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour sauce over browned beef and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until sauce has thickened slightly.
- Serve beef over cooked rice.
- Top with your favorite toppings, such as green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of sriracha and red pepper flakes to your desired level of spice.
- You can use any type of rice you prefer.
