Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.

  3. Stir in tomato soup, tomato sauce, beef broth, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add macaroni to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until macaroni is tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add a can of diced tomatoes for extra flavor.
  • Use different types of cheese, like Velveeta or Monterey Jack.
