Description
Make a quick and easy Homemade Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Pasta. It’s a family favorite and ready in under 30 minutes!
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in tomato soup, tomato sauce, beef broth, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Add macaroni to the skillet. Stir to combine.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until macaroni is tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Add a can of diced tomatoes for extra flavor.
- Use different types of cheese, like Velveeta or Monterey Jack.
- Adjust the amount of beef broth for desired consistency.
