Ingredients
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup cooked chicken, diced

- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add celery and onion; cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Whisk in flour until smooth.
- Gradually whisk in chicken broth until there are no lumps.
- Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
- Stir in milk, heavy cream, chicken, salt, pepper, and thyme.
