Description
A hearty shepherd’s pie made with ground beef, potatoes, carrots, and peas. Perfect for holiday dinners or cozy family meals.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Boil potatoes until tender, then mash with butter and milk.
- Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet.
- Add carrots and peas, cook for 5 minutes.
- Spread beef mixture in a baking dish, top with mashed potatoes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
