Ingredients
- 2 lbs Beef Stew Meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 6 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Dried Thyme
- 1 tsp Dried Rosemary
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 cup Beef Broth
Instructions
- Place beef cubes in the slow cooker.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour garlic butter mixture over the beef in the slow cooker.
- Add beef broth to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until beef is tender.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water and stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
