Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Optional: Pink sprinkles or funfetti
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a heart-shaped brownie pan.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Stir in vanilla extract, then beat in eggs one at a time.
- Gradually add flour and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- If desired, sprinkle with pink sprinkles or funfetti.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into heart shapes.
Notes
- For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake.
- Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut brownies into shapes if not using a heart-shaped pan.
