A quick and easy ground beef stroganoff recipe for a satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Cooked egg noodles, for serving
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
- Add the onion and mushrooms to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
- Sprinkle the flour over the beef and vegetables and stir to coat. Season with salt and pepper.
- Gradually whisk in the beef broth, ensuring there are no lumps. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the sour cream and Dijon mustard.
- Serve the stroganoff over cooked egg noodles.
