Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 cup Cooked Rice
- 1 Onion, diced
- 1 Green Bell Pepper, diced
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, diced
- 1 (15 oz) can Tomato Sauce
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 4 Bell Peppers (various colors)
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until softened.
- Stir in cooked rice, tomato sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- Stuff each bell pepper with the ground beef and rice mixture.
- Place stuffed peppers in a baking dish.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until peppers are tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can use any color bell peppers you like.
- Add a can of diced tomatoes for extra flavor.
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- These stuffed peppers are great for meal prep. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
