Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

  2. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the sauce over the ground beef mixture and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  5. Serve the ground beef over cooked rice or quinoa.
  6. Garnish with your favorite toppings, such as green onions or sesame seeds.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of maple syrup and Dijon mustard to suit your taste preferences.
  • For a spicier bowl, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef.
