Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/2 cup Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
- 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 4 cups Cooked Rice or Quinoa
- Optional Toppings: Green onions, sesame seeds
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the ground beef mixture and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Serve the ground beef over cooked rice or quinoa.
- Garnish with your favorite toppings, such as green onions or sesame seeds.
