Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz pasta (lasagna noodles or similar)
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, basil, and oregano. Bring to a simmer.
- Break lasagna noodles into smaller pieces and add to the pot. Cook until pasta is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, topped with a dollop of ricotta cheese.
