Description

This Ground Beef Family Dinner Casserole is a hearty and satisfying meal perfect for a family of five. It combines ground beef, cheese, and simple ingredients for a quick and easy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 can (10 oz) Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies, undrained
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 8 oz Egg Noodles, cooked


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Stir in condensed cream of mushroom soup, diced tomatoes and green chilies, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Combine the beef mixture with the cooked egg noodles in a large bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute the cream of mushroom soup with cream of celery or cream of chicken soup.
  • Add other vegetables like bell peppers or corn for extra flavor and nutrition.
  • Use different types of cheese like mozzarella or Monterey Jack.
