Ingredients
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 9 ounces refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season steak bites with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak and cook until browned on all sides. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet and cook until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add tortellini to the skillet and cook according to package directions, or until tender.
- Return steak to the skillet. Toss to combine.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the steak for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
