Quick and easy garlic parmesan chicken cooked in a skillet. A family favorite that’s ready in minutes.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and butter until melted and sauce has thickened slightly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a creamier sauce, add a splash of heavy cream.
- Serve over pasta, rice, or with a side of vegetables.
