Description
A flavorful and creamy Cajun chicken pasta dish. It features tender chicken and a rich, spicy sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast, cubed
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 pound pasta, cooked
Instructions
- Season chicken with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add onion and bell peppers to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook until sauce has thickened slightly, about 5 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken to the sauce. Toss to coat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your preference.
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Serve with a side of garlic bread.
