This easy beef casserole is a quick and comforting meal for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of celery soup
- 1 (1 oz) package dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 cups cooked egg noodles
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet. Drain excess grease.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup, onion soup mix, and milk.
- Stir in the cooked egg noodles.
- Pour mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for ground beef.
- Add vegetables like peas, carrots, or green beans for extra nutrients.
