Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups strong brewed Earl Grey tea, cooled
- 2 tablespoons lavender syrup
- 1 package (3 ounces) ladyfingers
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, separated
- 1 tablespoon lavender-infused sugar, for dusting
- Cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions
- Combine cooled Earl Grey tea and lavender syrup in a shallow dish.
- Quickly dip ladyfingers in the tea mixture and arrange them in a single layer in a serving dish.
- In a bowl, beat mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks until light and fluffy. Gently fold into the mascarpone mixture.
- In another clean bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into the mascarpone mixture.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat layers with remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, dust with lavender-infused sugar and cocoa powder.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of lavender syrup to your preference.
- Do not over-soak the ladyfingers, or they will become soggy.
- For a stronger Earl Grey flavor, steep the tea for a longer time.
