Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups strong brewed Earl Grey tea, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons lavender syrup
  • 1 package (3 ounces) ladyfingers
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, separated
  • 1 tablespoon lavender-infused sugar, for dusting
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting


Instructions

  1. Combine cooled Earl Grey tea and lavender syrup in a shallow dish.
  2. Quickly dip ladyfingers in the tea mixture and arrange them in a single layer in a serving dish.
  3. In a bowl, beat mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks until light and fluffy. Gently fold into the mascarpone mixture.
  5. In another clean bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into the mascarpone mixture.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Repeat layers with remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  9. Before serving, dust with lavender-infused sugar and cocoa powder.
