Description
This is a simple and delicious creamy pasta salad. It is perfect for potlucks, picnics, or a quick lunch.
Ingredients
- 1 pound pasta, such as rotini or penne
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, milk, and Parmesan cheese.
- Add red onion, peas, and bacon to the dressing.
- Add the cooked pasta to the bowl and toss to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
- Add other vegetables like diced carrots or celery.
- For a tangier flavor, add a tablespoon of lemon juice.
