Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 cups seasoned stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, mix stuffing mix with melted butter.
- Spread half of the stuffing mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Pour chicken mixture over the stuffing layer.
- Top with remaining stuffing mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Add vegetables like peas or carrots to the chicken mixture.
- Use different flavors of cream of soup for variation.
