Description
Creamy Chicken Stuffed Shells are pasta shells filled with a savory chicken and cheese mixture, baked in a creamy sauce. This dish is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
- 1 pound jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta shells according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine chicken, ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Fill each pasta shell with the chicken mixture.
- Spread 1 cup of Alfredo sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Arrange the stuffed shells in the baking dish.
- Pour the remaining 1 cup of Alfredo sauce over the shells.
- Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Adjust the amount of garlic powder to your preference.
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
