Ingredients
- 1 pound egg noodles
- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, peas and carrots, salt, and pepper.
- Add cooked noodles to the chicken mixture and stir to combine.
- Pour mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with cheddar cheese and bread crumbs. Drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use leftover rotisserie chicken for this recipe.
- Add your favorite vegetables to the casserole.
- For a crispier topping, broil for the last 1-2 minutes of baking. Watch closely to prevent burning.
