Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
- 10 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 8 oz sour cream
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms, sautéed
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked rice or egg noodles (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the shredded chicken and sautéed mushrooms to the bowl and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let stand for a few minutes before serving. Serve over rice or egg noodles, if desired.
