Easy Cinnamon Sugar Blondies are a simple and delicious fall treat. You can bake these quickly with minimal ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter and 1 cup sugar until combined.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
- Add cinnamon and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon for the topping.
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a fudgier blondie, slightly underbake.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- Add chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the batter for extra flavor.
