Ingredients
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups rolled oats
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa powder.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Boil for exactly 1 minute, then remove from heat.
- Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the rolled oats and mix until well coated.
- Working quickly, drop spoonfuls of the cookie mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Let the cookies cool completely until firm, about 30 minutes.
