Chicken Teriyaki Noodle Bowls: A quick and easy meal perfect for weeknight dinners. Enjoy flavorful chicken and noodles in a delicious teriyaki sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Optional: Steamed broccoli or other vegetables
Instructions
- Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Stir in garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in teriyaki sauce and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until sauce has thickened slightly.
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat with the teriyaki sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Optional: Serve with steamed broccoli or other vegetables.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of teriyaki sauce to your preference.
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- You can use other types of noodles, such as udon or ramen.
- Chicken thighs can be substituted for chicken breasts.
