Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 pound Lo Mein noodles
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, broccoli, peas, etc.)
  • 2 green onions, sliced


Instructions

  1. Cook Lo Mein noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, sugar, ginger, garlic powder, and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet or wok, cook chicken over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add mixed vegetables to the skillet and cook until tender-crisp.
  5. Pour sauce over chicken and vegetables. Bring to a simmer and cook until sauce has thickened.
  6. Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat.
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust soy sauce to your preference.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
