A comforting and easy one-pan bake featuring cheesy tortellini, tender chicken, and a creamy Alfredo sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (19 ounce) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1 (16 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a large oven-safe skillet or baking dish, combine the seasoned chicken, refrigerated tortellini, and Alfredo sauce. Stir to coat everything evenly.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute pre-cooked rotisserie chicken for the fresh chicken to save time.
- Add some steamed broccoli or spinach for extra vegetables.
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
