Ingredients
- 1 bag (10-12 oz) pretzel rods
- 1 cup caramel bits
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange pretzel rods on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine caramel bits and water.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until caramel is melted and smooth.
- Dip each pretzel rod halfway into the melted caramel, letting excess drip off.
- Place dipped pretzels back on the parchment paper.
- Immediately sprinkle with chopped nuts or sprinkles, if using.
- Let the caramel harden completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
