A quick and easy one-pot Cajun sausage pasta recipe. It’s a flavorful and comforting meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Cajun sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 pound pasta (penne or rotini)
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the Cajun sausage over medium heat. Drain any excess grease.
- Add the onion, garlic, and red bell pepper to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, cream cheese, pasta, chicken broth, and Cajun seasoning.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

- Adjust Cajun seasoning to your preferred spice level.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions before serving.
