Description
A quick and easy buffalo chicken orzo pasta dish with a spicy kick.
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1 ½ cups uncooked orzo pasta
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook orzo according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through.
- Pour buffalo sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
- Add the cooked orzo and blue cheese to the skillet.
- Stir everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to your spice preference.
- For a creamier sauce, stir in a tablespoon of butter at the end.
- Garnish with extra blue cheese or chopped celery if desired.
