Description

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free blend)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (or vegan butter)
  • Optional: Blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add almond milk and mix until a smooth batter forms.
  4. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  5. Place the battered cauliflower florets on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. While the cauliflower is baking, prepare the buffalo sauce. In a bowl, combine buffalo wing sauce and melted butter.
  8. Once the cauliflower is done, toss it in the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
  9. Serve immediately with blue cheese or ranch dressing, if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispy cauliflower, broil for the last 2-3 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  • Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to your preferred spice level.
  • You can also air fry the cauliflower for a quicker cooking time.
